As a local band with limited at all or no budget at, how do you promote yourself has become a crucial question. I still remember those days when I had to pay $100 out of my band fund a year to keep my band website alive; I still remember those days that I used to print out hundreds of handbills and posters before every show we played; and I still remember those days that I uploaded recordings onto MySpace so people can hear us.
For all low budget local bands, the greatest thing about MySpace is to fulfill the desire of “I want to be heard”.
